So, for this blog, I wanted to try and get some inspiration for the next repeat pattern I will be making, and so my first thought was to go on my second favourite website for images and try and find some good patterns as inspiration.
As we can see here, we have quite a few pins on here, as usual this is just a small screenshot from all of them. I have roughly 150 by the time that the is published. I've made sure to have a variation of pattern o I can have quite a few inspirations for the pattern I'll be making. My favourite ones are the simple cooked and shape ones, for me they look just so clean, but enough about that, lets analyse.
So, what do I think of the product I have made here? I think it's quite good, as for mentioned before, I made sure to ave lot of variation of patterns I like to make sure I am inspired when look at this.
Was it successful? I like to think so, from collecting so man images for the board, I've found some I really like and want to take aspects from, especially the ones that are circle based I really like those.
If I could, what would I have done differently? Nothing really, the board has plenty of inspiration for me to create an interesting party themed pattern, what more could I ask for?
How could I develop this further? There is only one way I can think of developing this board, and that's simply just adding more unique patterns that could inspire me.
Is this something I would revisit in future work? absolutely. I can see patterns being something I would use commonly in my work, because to me they can be very complex and yet oh so simple, which gives sit the versatility to be put in an awful lot of circumstances.
